I was in a bad place for so long time I was starting to forget the meanings of life. My friends always told me that I need to get up and start living. Well, it’s hard to do that when you lack something and you do not know what it is.
I was so deep into that state of mind, I thought I was going to die. Literally, my life was a mess. The reasons are not important at this time, because that’s not what I’m going to talk about. I’m going to talk about technology. The first step in my revival was to buy a laptop. I didn’t had one at the time, but I thought it would be a good thing to read news or watch tv when I’m in park or taking a walk. One day I made a Facebook profile. From out of nowhere, old friends appeared in my account and I started to talk to all of them. I realized we had so much in common, I bought a DSL Camera and joined photography class with three of them. We started to create new projects, discuss new things. After a while, I bought the new Kindle and that was a big step towards my recovery. I was able to download many books I couldn’t find anywhere else. Kindle is so easy to carry around and it’s a mobile library. Up to 2-3000 books or more. Any reader’s dream.
The last gadget I bought was an iPhone, so I could listen to music everywhere I am and access my Facebook account wherever I am. Now, I can say my life is full, I have a boyfriend thanks to good old FB and all the important people in my life are one click away.
Technology saved my life…
If you lack something in your life and you think technology is the reason, you should read blogs that review new stuff. You never know what you should find that suits you.
