But the more popular 21.5 "model has a stand that was not designed to be removed and any attempt to do so could result in voiding its warranty.
This is why I created the iMac VESA Mount Adapter to retrofit to the stand of the iMac using the cable hole on the back. This way, there is no need to open or modify your iMac computer. It is very simple to use, attaching and detaching quickly so you can easily move your computer to another area, or take it with you on your travels.
