A radiant energy generator is a device that is capable of taking radiant energy (that exists all around us) and converting it into usable ac (alternating current) electricity that can be used to power appliances in your home. Commercial models are still some time away and I estimate approximately 5 years before we see the first ones. Some are less optimistic and believe that governments will never allow mass production of these generators because this will destroy all current investments in our fossil fuel reliant status quo.
Whatever you think will happen, if you want to take advantage of this technology today then you should construct your own device. Thankfully, this is even easier than constructing your own solar panel or wind turbine, with one proviso – I strongly recommend investing a nominal amount (around 40 to 50 dollars) on a reliable, step by step, instructional guide. This will contain details of a design that has been tried and tested and get you up and running within days rather than months or even years (these generators can be tricky to get "just right" if you are starting from scratch).
By following this path, you can cancel your power bill much sooner thanks to the 7 or so kilowatts worth of power that you will be able to generate with ease.
