Nikola Tesla was one of the greatest inventors of all time. He developed a complete system for the production and distribution of alternating current to provide electricity for the millions. It is still in use today, essentially unchanged.
Tesla had many patents for his amazingventions. Some called him the "Master of Lightning" because of the high voltage high frequency electrical discharges that he produced. They looked and sounded a lot like thunder and lightning.
In 1901 he was awarded US Patent # 685958 "Method of Utilizing Radiant Energy". The device described in Tesla's patent was never commercially produced by the inventor. After his financialier JPMorgan found out that Tesla planned to give free electricity to everyone, he lost his financial backing. Morgan did everything that he could to discredit Tesla and his wonderful inventions. Hisventions became suppressed. Tesla died years later, penny less in his hotel room.
After his death, some free energy researchers and enthusiasts became interested in some of his energy secrets and inventions. Through research, experimentation and new technology, some of modern improvements on its original invention for utilizing radiant energy have been made. It has been dubbed "the Tesla generator". The generators utilize an antenna to collect ambient radiant electromagnetic energy and turn it into useable electrical energy suitable for household and industrial uses. Perhaps a better name for it would have been an energy receiver or energy collector.
Once the Tesla generator is put in properly constructed and place, it will produce electricity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 365 days a year. They rarely need any type of maintenance or repair. Therefore, after the initial cost of the unit, there will be many years worth of "free electricity". Modern technology has led to the development of an improved design of the system that utilizes an inverter and deep cycle lead-acid batteries.
Can you really get electricity out of thin air? My answer is "Yes!" The air is chock full of radiant energy. It comes from the sun, stars, outer space, radio waves, power lines, telecommunication equipment, and even from cell phones. You are constantly bombarded with these energies, even though you can not feel it. Why not take advantage of it?
