The 2010 300C from Chrysler is expected to hit the car market in the first quarter of 2011. The introduction model is expected to be unveiled by early months of 2010 (fingers crossed). The final testing, handling and ride tuning of the model are scheduled to be carried out in the final season of 2010.
When compared to the LX series, the 2010 Chrysler 300C will be more aerodynamic, and fuel efficient. The 5.7 liter V-8 engine that can produce power up to 360 hp is supposed to be provided in the 2010 300C. This new engine can deliver 30 more horse power in comparison to the current generation 3.5 liter engine. The engine in the next generation vehicle is expected to be paired to 8-speed transmission, but it is unlikely to happen.
The next generation 2010 300C will be offered in three different trim levels – base four door all wheel drive sedan, SRT four door rear wheel drive sedan and the Hemi four wheel rear wheel drive sedan. All the models will have the standard wheel base of 120 inches. The length, width and the height of the base model will be 196.8 inches, 74.1 inches and 58.9 inches respectively. The curb weight of the next generation model will be 4251 lbs, while the gross weight of the model will be 5500 lbs.
The V8 engine that will be equipped in the 2010 Chrysler 300C will deliver power levels of up to 360 hp at an angular speed of 5150 rpm and torque of 389 lb-ft at an angular speed of 2000 RPM.
