I love all types of DIY and when my buddy told me that it was now possible to build your own generator powered by magnetism that could power your whole house, I couldn’t get my plans fast enough!
Once I had downloaded my plans I went down to my local DIY store and picked up everything I needed. There are no special parts required and even the magnets are just standard and nothing special. As long as you have a good DIY store nearby you will be able to pick up everything you need.
This was the first DIY energy generator, magnetic or otherwise, that I had ever built. I usually stick to carpentry and woodwork. However within about three days of on and off work I managed to complete my first generator.
Because it was my first one, I decided on building the smaller scale version to see if it actually worked before building the full-scale generator.
As soon as it was finished I hooked it up to my existing power supply which was also surprisingly easy.
About a week has passed already and by checking the electricity meter I can say that it’s reducing my electricity bill by about 43%!
How cool is that!
I will sell this existing generator to my buddy once I’ve built a larger scale version which will hopefully eradicate my electricity bill altogether!
I really can’t recommend this project enough.
Just make sure you get the right plans. There are a lot of free plans out there which clearly don’t work and there are also some rip-offs.
