This is the 2009 Nissan 370Z, and I would have to personally say this is the best car I have driven this year. At first look you have to think "what's the difference between this car and the 350Z"? All I can say is: …. no, not much. However, like most of the Z-Car models it's not only great for the everyday driver who wants to forget his crappy job, but has enough power to throw you back in your seat, reach down your pants and work you over.
The car is a two door coupe with a front-mid mounted 3.7-liter DOHC V6 engine that pushes out a 332bhp with 270 lb · ft at 5200rpm. That's more power that the Porsche Cayman S and is about $ 10-15k cheaper (and looks a lot better in my opinion). It also comes with a either a 6 speed manual or a 7 speed automatic transmission.
The interior like many of the other Z-Cars is absolutely beautiful. From the stitched leather seats, to the center mounted gauges and the new touch screen SatNav. It's also has push button starter, so as long as you have your keys on you, you can start the car without taking them out of your pocket. The sound system continues with the BOSE brand and also has a 9.3GB hard drive for you to upload MP3's. The rear has seats for two, however I can say there isn't much room for anyone back there unless you push the front seats way forward. The trunk is also relatively small, so I don't recommend taking your wife out on a day of shopping with this.
Driving this car down the road is surprisingly comfortable for the stiff suspension. I was half expecting to lose feeling in my butt after 10 minutes and my testicles to be crushed beyond any further use. It was the exact opposite. I also noticed that driving this through the city that this car does turn a lot of heads. I don't know if it's because either people don't see a lot of these cars or if they are drooling with envy. On my way on the on-ramp for the highway I can honestly say this thing absolutely takes off with very little effort. I honestly broke the speed limit several times before I thought the local police would get extremely cross and ruin my day if I kept it up. I then got off the highway and hit the sharp corners on some country roads. I can say there is not a lot of understeer at all. This thing sticks really nice to the road on corners that it's almost amazing.
So, overall I would have to say I would recommend this car highly to anyone. For the starting price of $ 29,930, it's a wonderful alternative to high priced brand names. I can also say they make a NISMO 370Z for those of you who want a little extra speed and performance for only $ 10k more
