Let’s start our comparison for Android OS and Windows phone 7
1- OS Android has more features:
As compared to other smart phones Windows mobile 7 lacks a lot of features which are generally supported by other smart phones and OS Android devices. For Example, it lack cut and paste option. You cannot run Flash, HTML5 and silverlight videos. You are unable to unify your E-mail inbox. If there features are integrated in this phone, it will surely get a lot of buyers.
2 – Android OS has better customizing options:
Windows mobile 7 lacks the customizing options. It does not offer you home screen widgets, or live wallpapers. You cannot install new services for extending share options. Android OS provides you excellent customizing options.
3- OS Android offers many Applications:
There are nearly 100,000 applications available with OS Android, but the Windows phone 7 is supported with just over 100 applications. There is a lot of room for applications to be filled.
4 – Windows Mobile 7 is using Version 1.0
Application developers are introducing many applications for smart phones everyday.
So if you want to use a better or upgraded application in your Windows phone 7, you might have to look for v2.0 to get the applications that other smart phones support.
5- Unlike OS Android
WP7 is only a GSM phone. GSM Network is used widely across Europe and all over the world. But WP7 is not a solution for other network providers.
Conclusion:
The Windows phone 7 has produced some impressive results. But the Android beats Windows phone 7 for now. The OS Android is providing great customizations and it has introduced many features and apps that are making our lives easier.
