The Apple iPhone 3G S is the new updated Apple iPhone, and it is sure to perform very well. There is a massive 3.5 inch touch screen, that has a special coating called oleophobic, which means that it is almost completely smudge proof. The iPhone 3G measures 115.5mm high, 62.1mm wide, 12.3mm and weighs 150 grams, which is very similar to the original iPhone. There are only 4 'real' buttons on the iPhone 3G S, and these are for silent mode, to lock it, to retun to the homepage and to adjust the volume. Apart that these, all other applications are accessed via the touch screen. At the moment you can only pick up the Applie iPhone S is white or black.
As the iPhone S was designed by the same company, Apple, that make ipods, the music player is excellent. It actually has a built-in iPod which will link directly to the iTunes Store. The same functionality you would expect from an iPod will be found on the 3G iPhone. However the phone also allows you to change tracks via voice commands, and will also tell you which song is playing if asked. How clever is that?
Expect excellent quality sound as well as a great pair of headphones. The camera on the iPhone 3G has 3 mega pixels with auto focus. There is also a feature called 'Tap to Focus', which allows you to tap a chosen point that you want the camera to focus on. The only negative aspect of the camera, is that there is no flash.
All standard applications are included, but there is also iTunes and iPhoto. Apple have also included a 'cut, copy, paste' application similar to what you would normally find on a computer. Internet connectivity is excellent with 3G (hence the name) and Wifi, and the large 3.5 inch screen makes viewing webpages and emails super easy.
In summary, the iPhone S is sure to be as popular as the first generation iPhone was, if not more.
