The most anticipated of all handsets in the year 2007, the Apple iPhone is a revolutionary new gadget featuring a plethora of high-tech features for the high-end users. This all in one device is a phone, an iPod, and a mini-Internet computer all at once. It is only 11.6 millimeter in thickness and proves to be an extremely thin and slick handheld device.

The iPhone by Apple boasts of a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 touchscreen display with multi-touch support. The proximity sensor turns the screen off when it’s close to your face. The 2 MP camera is only average, but comes in quite handy when you want to preserve certain wonderful moments of your life. The Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR and A2DP is one option that lets you exchange music, ringtones and pictures wirelessly between two compatible devices.

The WiFi feature in the Apple iPhone automatically engages when in range. It even boasts of a -band GSM radio with EDGE, as well as 4GB or 8GB of internal memory that provides you with enough space to store all your important documents, official data, music files, picture albums, as well as videos in the handset itself. The iPhone runs OS X with support for Widgets, Safari and Google Maps, and iTunes with CoverFlow out of the gate. Free push IMAP email is provided to the Apple iPhone owners through Yahoo. Apple promises 5 hours of battery life for talk or video, as well as 16 hours of non-stop music.

This seemingly perfect phone has its flaws as well. One being that you can’t download songs directly onto it from the iTunes store, these will have to be exported from a computer. Even though the iPhone has got WiFi and Bluetooth on it, you can’t wirelessly sync iPhone with a computer. Also, this device can’t be used without signing up for cellular service.
