My friend, my heart goes out to you. Going through an affair is probably one of the worst feelings on earth; I feel nothing but sympathy for you if you’ve started to become suspicious of your spouse.
Why?
Because that makes it very likely that your spouse is cheating on you.
Don’t believe me? Check this out:
Recently there was a study done in which several hundred couples were anonymously asked if they were suspicious of their partner [having an affair] in any way. A series of followups were done, and by the end of the study it turned out that 85% of the suspicious spouse’s were correct, there was an affair to be found.
So what does this mean for you? It means that if you’ve seen or heard or felt ANYTHING that’s got you wondering if your partner is being anything but totally 100% loyal…
Well, chances are that you’re right. I’m sorry.
Look for these signs:
A Distinct Lack of Focus
The thing about affairs is that you spend a lot of time thinking about them.
Do me a favor…Think for a moment about how often you wonder about whether you’re husband or wife is cheating on you. Pretty often I’m guessing…Like multiple times a day, right?
And as time goes on, chances are that you start to wonder more and more…Am I right?
Well, it’s the exact same way for your spouse and their affair. In fact, for them to even have an affair means that they’ve already thought more about having an affair than you have catching it.
Make sure that you take note of this inevitable sign. There will come a day that your spouse won’t be able to explain what’s on his/her mind. You’ll ask them what’s up, or why they said something that they did, and you simply won’t get an explanation.
And hey, one time isn’t anything to write home about. But if you increasingly notice that your spouse doesn’t seem to be totally ‘there’, then you should really consider that a sign that something might be going on behind your back.
Keep a Journal
This is one of the most important things that I can tell you. Start keeping a journal RIGHT NOW!
The benefits are endless…
You can keep track of when you suspected something, and what made you suspicious. You can use that information to see if there are any patterns in your partner’s behavior that could give them away.
Additionally, in the event that they are having an affair and, worse comes to worse, you get a divorce, then having that PHYSICAL PROOF will go a looooooong way in making sure you come out on top.
I know it sounds awful to think about now…But your future self will thank you for planning for the worst.
Don’t Be Afraid of Gadgets and Gizmos!
This is something that many people are hesitant to delve in to for some reason; I really don’t know why.
Listen up, it’s the 21st century folks. Even private investigators don’t follow people around anymore…They tap phones and use surveillance technology.
Well, I got news for you, that same technology is available to you, even if you don’t have quite the budget for the really fancy stuff that a PI would.
When it comes to spouse tracking there are really quite a few different ways you could go, I highly recommend learning more about it. Take some time to figure out what works for you and what doesn’t.
