Unfortunately, many computers run slow for a simple reason – the ‘registry’. The registry is simply a big database that sits in the heart of Windows, storing all sorts of information about your PC. The registry is responsible for storing everything from your Internet favorites to your latest emails, meaning that when you use your PC, it’s constantly being read.

The registry is one of the most important parts of Windows, because it allows your system to store all sorts of information about your PC, and then remember it when your computer is turned off and on again. This is all okay, but ever since its introduction in Windows ’98, the registry has been causing millions of Windows PCs to run slower and slower because of a flaw in its design.

The problem is that since Windows relies on the registry so much, it’s constantly opening and using 100’s of registry files each time you use your PC. And unfortunately, this makes your computer confused, making it save the files in the wrong way. This makes them corrupt and hard to read, forcing your PC to take longer to read them when it next wants to process them. This is what slows most computers down, because the more corrupt registry files your have, the slower your PC will run.

This is a big problem that has gone undetected by many people, simply because the registry is constantly hidden in the “background” of Windows. This has lead many computers to collect 1,000’s of corrupt registry files, all of which are working to slow your computer down more and more.

However, this problem is actually very simple to fix. You can speed up your PC a lot by using a software tool called a “registry cleaner”. These software tools are designed to scan through the entire registry and fix any of the problems that are in there, meaning that if you can get a good one, you’ll be able to make your computer run extremely fast. You just need to download a good registry cleaner, install it and then let it scan and fix all the problems on your PC.
