While previous iPod Touch users went crazy over its touch feature and its innovative internet function, there were still a few complaints that had been raised. Fortunately, Apple has taken the initiative and addressed these complaints with the release of the 32G version of iPod Touch. Now, nobody can say that Apple's range of iPods is only useful for joggers and hormone-driven kids.
One thing that bugs many iPod Touch users is its similarity with the iPhone in terms of interface and technology, except that iPhone has way cooler features. Well, Apple has found the remedy for that, too. The updated version of iPod Touch has taken almost every feature that iPhone has. And because it is an iPod, you can also play music and video to your heart's content. All recent units also are also set up with extra applications, although, those who already have a Touch would have to pay for the extra apps and functionality.
What sets off the latest version of iPod is its multi-touch interface. Saying goodbye to the scroll wheel, the newer version features a lock and unlock buttons located located at the top of the screen and at the bottom, you can see the home button. The on-screen buttons drive the device and you flick on one when you want to use a certain feature. There's also a new feature that allows you to shift the icons and replace it with new applications.
Apple is already geared up for third party applications which iPod Touch users can download and buy via the iTunes Store. This would mean even more technical growth for this very cool device. This product is not just a fancy technology meant to impress but it is a useful piece of gadget that keeps you abreast with the important developments at a touch of your hand.
