There are lot of mobile phones today which possesses large capacity and give a lot of cushion to mobile phone users to charge their mobile batteries by taking time. They can give a standby time of almost 20 12-15 hours, though it varies at times depending on the capabilities of a phone. For example cell phones having camera, mp3 player would have low capacity than the ordinary ones. Capacity of cell phone batteries are measured either in terms of standby time or a talk time.

The overall time that a cell phone battery gives is stand by time. It includes all normal functions and operations of mobile phones like messaging, gaming, or it may be kept without using. Even though it takes energy from the battery and has a time frame which not lasts long for more than 12-15 hours. It is not necessary that if you are using your phone then it will spend it’s energy quickly, it also spends if you kept it with yourself without even touching it.
A good standby battery life is about 12-15 hours. If the phone battery is giving less time than that it means it is not giving a good standby time.
