Regardless of your political or religious persuasion, human science is moving very quickly, and we are discovering things that may change the way you think and your belief system forever. Consider if you will that we now have artificial intelligent decision making software, which can out think our smartest humans?
This means that all of our leaders, politicians, and those that strategize the future of our society and civilization will become obsolete. They are no longer needed, quite frankly they aren’t smart enough to keep up with the machine; the artificial intelligent decision making software that is.
Is the human race willing to allow machines and AI computers to choose our destiny for us? The answer today is probably no, but over time it will happen with or without human society’s consent. Additionally, if that blows away your belief system, here’s another issue you must deal with if you are a religious person.
We are about to find life on Mars, our nearest planet. If there is life on our nearest planet, then obviously there is life in other solar systems, and throughout the galaxy and universe. This fact will throw a huge wrench into world religions, it will cause some of them to fail, and some of those superstitions, stories, and tales behind them to cease to exist.
In fact, not only will the image of God or the story behind all these religions fail, but mankind will indeed have created his own learning machine that gets better over time, which will become his God.
In other words, man will create a God, which he thought created himself. This means in essence humankind will replace religion with science, and go on to evolve what it means to be human into something far greater. Please consider all this.
