“He throws! It’s a long pass. It’s. . .oh what an amazing catch at the 30 yard line! He’s at the 20, the ten—he scores! Touchdown!” The excitement, the adrenaline pumping rush of watching your favorite team crush their opponent and the ultimate goal of getting a touchdown. This is what real men do. We’re football fans and we’re not afraid to say it: I’ve got tickets for Superbowl 44! Yeah, that’s right, in-your-face! Okay, you know I’m jealous. And not just because you get to see the hottest game in America. But also became you get to visit one of the coolest towns this great country has to offer. So, if you’re heading down to see Superbowl 44, then you should totally be checking out some of the things Miami has to offer.

For example, no trip to watch Superbowl 44 would be complete without a stop in Miami Sequarium. The sequarium is located right in the heart of the tourist area, on the road between downtown Miami and Miami Beach. It’s an incredible stop where you can see an outdoor aquarium that’s only possible in Miami’s tropical climate. Make sure you allow yourself at least half a day there (Maybe you should really make it Superbowl week instead of just Superbowl 44 Sunday).

No man’s vacation would be complete either without a visit to the world famous Miami Everglades. With 1.5 million acres of swamps, saw-grass prairies and sub-tropical jungles, Everglades National Park is probably the most unusual public park in the United States that you’ll ever have the chance to see. The park is on the southern tip of Florida and boasts 14 rare and endangered species, including the American Crocodile, the Florida Panther and the West Indian Manatee. Parts of the park are closed off and are only available to those with a strong sense of adventure and serious hiking experience. But others are more family friendly and are at least places where you won’t get so lost you miss the Superbowl 44 experience which you came here to enjoy to begin with.

Whatever you do down in Miami, it is really a tropical paradise. You can enjoy the wonderful beaches, the girls, the dancing and the nightlife. Yes, you’re making the trip in order to see Superbowl 44 and I’m with you on that. It’s totally awesome and I’d love to come also (got a spare ticket?), but don’t forget about everything this amazing town has to offer. You’ll thank me later.
