Well, I am an iPhone user, and I just love my wonderful little gear. It has lighted up my boring life, and I just can’t take my hands off it. After using it for months, I’ve noticed there are so many amazing features integrated into this little thing. So I spent hours surfing the web to learn useful tricks that can help me make the most out of my iPhone. So far I’ve found many resourceful sites and useful tricks and tips.

Here I’d like to share a few tips and tricks that I use frequently.

1. Make a call from Safari

You can dial a phone number in Safari if you like. Just tap on the number and the iPhone will dial it for you.

2. Play Music Tracks Faster or Slower

Go to Settings, choose iPod, then tap on the Audiobook Speed, choose Slower, Normal or Faster. You can change the music tempo in three styles.

3. Set Parental Controls

If you don’t want some information or functions being viewed by your kids on your iPhone, you can block it. Go to Settings, choose General, and tap Restrictions.

4. iPod icon can be changed

Formerly, I believed that the iPod icon is set by default and cannot be changed at will. Later, I come to the dawn that it can be changed. Go to iPod, tap Configure, then Choose More, tap Edit and hold on the icon you prefer to replace the older one. Tap on Done when you’re finished.

5. Use iPhone abroad

The roaming fee is very high when I was traveling abroad. But anyway, I still have to use my iPhone. If you are outside, you should choose the carriers which have roaming agreements with your iPhone service. Go to Settings, then tap Carrier, and select.

6. Airplane Mode can do a lot. Use Airplane Mode to turn off cellular services, preventing voice roaming charge. Moreover, you can save your battery life span in this mode.
