Denver Broncos and How This Season Is Unfolding

The Denver Broncos are one of the most reputable professional football teams in the United States, having won the NFL Championship twice, and the AFL six times. Names such as John Elway, Floyd Little, Gary Zimmerman, and Shannon Sharpe are all highly honored at the Football Hall of Fame.

The Denver Broncos team was established all the way back in the 1960’s, in Denver, Colorado. The Denver Broncos currently, have their headquarters at Paul D. Bowlen Memorial Center in Dove Valley, Colorado. It is pleasing to know that the team has been a member of the National Football League, or as is  more commonly known the NFL, from the 1970’s until present.

Worthy to note is also the fact that the Denver Broncos also go by the nickname of Orange Crush, and their team colors are a combination of navy, orange, and white.

The current owner of the Broncos, who is also the CEO, and the Chairman of the Team, is Pat Bowler, with Joe Ellis as President of the Team, and Brian Xanders as General Team Manager. In addition, the Team is currently being coached by John Fox.

Part of the success of the Denver Broncos as a Pro Football Team is due to their membership in numerous national and international competitions. They have played at major football events such The Superbowl twice in 1997 and 1998. They have also been a competitive counterpart of the Conference and Division Championships numerous times, and have made significant appearances, amounting to a total of 17 times, at the NFL playoffs.

Their current home field is at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The turning point of the season could be the game that was played against the New York Jets. The Broncos won a celebrated victory against the Jets with the lead of Tim Tebow, and a toppling score of 17 to 13. In fact Peter King, general sports authority, quoted on the player, Tim Tebow’s unusual, yet winning nevertheless strategy that guaranteed the team’s victory in the end.

Peter King is heard saying on the Denver Bronco’s player Tim Tebow and his unconventional football winning strategy that, “If you ask me whether this could sustain anything or work long term, I don’t think it can. But if you’re the Denver Broncos, why wouldn’t you do it now? It’s working, you’re winning and your defense is playing fantastic.”

He was also quoted saying that the Denver Broncos are one of the “hottest football teams” in the United States and that John Fox, the current Head Coach, is definitely entitled to play to his player’s strengths, if they are getting him wins.
