According to news emanating from very reliable sources Microsoft has confirmed that Windows Phone 8 launch will be on October 29th amd the phones will be out for sale in early November. The launch will be held in the city of San Francisco according to invitations sent by Microsoft to Media on October 4th. The OS has been named as ‘Apollo’ and it will also be the date when the Windows Phone 8 SDK or the software development kit will be available for developers publicly.
It is already known that the Nokia Lumia 920 and 820 will be available exclusively on AT&T for a period of time. The HTC 8X and 8S is also set for launch in November on the Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile carriers. So there is one more device in line for launch before the festive season. The consumers will be having a difficult time in choosing form so many choices. Hold your breath till the end of October and November, there is much action awaiting you.
