Asus Eee Pad Transformer is versatile

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer is a versatile PC Tablet. If you want to enjoy multimedia and other productivity applications while on the move, The Asus Android Tablet is an excellent choice. It currently runs Android OS 3.0 but the Android 3.1 upgrade will be available May 31, 2011.

The Asus Transformer Android Tablet has an optional docking station (sold separately) that allows you to work in a PC mode. This allows the tablet to be used like a laptop for easier typing. While connected to the docking station, your battery life is extended which allows for longer use. The docking station also provides 2 USB 2.0 ports, a headphone audio jack and a 4-in-1 card reader for added convenience.

Something unique about the Asus Eee Pad Transformer is the Waveshare Interface. You can connect this tablet to your home network wirelessly. This gives the ability to access and control your PC or Mac with your android tablet. You can stream HD videos or music wirelessly to your network. This feature is great for easily transferring files to and from your PC or Mac without having to mess with more wires.

Asus Eee Pad Slider Coming Soon

Asus continues to impress with the much talked about Asus Eee Pad Slider. The tablet will slide into a mini keyboard that will be a battery source and stand for the tablet, giving it a netbook feel. It is expected that the tablet and slider will be sold together unlike the Transformer whose docking keyboard is sold separately. There is no word at time of publishing this article whether Asus will jump from Tegra 2 to the Atom Z670. This slider is expected to be priced competitively and should be another hot ticket for Asus.

Asus Eee Pad MeMo 3D to be a BIG hit

Possibly the most exciting mobile tablet to hit markets in 2011 is Asus’ Eee Pad MeMo 3D. Asus has confirmed they will release a glasses-free 3D, 1280×800 IPS display for their 7″ Honeycomb tablet. Enjoy pop-out movies without carrying around a set of uncomfy glasses. The 7″ screen gives maximum portability. You will be able to store this tablet easily in a pocket, purse or briefcase. It is equipped with a stylus for touch screen, which is tucked away in an extension of the tablet. This design leaves the tablet exceedingly thin, one of thinnest available. The MeMo is equipped with Memic Bluetooth headset that will give you hands-free chatting.

Which ever your preference, there is sure to be an Asus Eee Pad to meet your needs. With the Asus Transformer already on the market and with this impressive lien-up of mobile tablets slated to release sometime in 2011, Asus is surely to hit a home run with Mobile Tech enthusiasts.
