Though it is important to have lovely, touchable skin every day of the year, on Valentines Day with kissing, touching and holding soft, beautiful skin is even more important.  Are you ready to get soft, sexy skin for Valentines Day? The first key to beautiful, touchable skin is to get rid of the old dead skin. Exfoliate your skin in the shower using a body brush, exfoliating product or loofah.  Next, follow the exfoliation with a deep moisturizing body wash. Be sure to work the body wash into your knees, elbows and other areas that tend to be drier. Consistent use of a rich body wash will help the skin barrier retain it’s natural moisture and over time lessen skin dryness.

Once out of the shower use a fragrance free body moisturizer for sensitive skin, Avoid using perfumed lotions that provide a temporary feeling of smoothness skin but tend to dry out the skin over time. Rubbing the moisturizer on slightly damp skin will help plump up the skin and give that soft, sexy feel to the skin for Valentines Day.

The lip area is very important. Be sure not to forget to pamper your lips making them kissable and soft for Valentines Day.  Lipstick, cold weather and licking the lips can dry out the lip area. Apply a little toothpaste to a baby toothbrush and gently rub it on the lips to exfoliate this area. Follow up with a rich lip balm containing petrolatum to soften rough, chapped lips.
