Let me tell you about a male cat in our neighbourhood. He is a fine specimen of a cat. Smokey grey with white paws and white around his nose, he is strong and virile. However, he is also extremely arrogant, and totally defiant.

He comes around and terrorizes all the other cats. I have been known to be out in the middle of the road in the moonlight, pushing this cat back down the street with a broom. And what does he do? He takes one step backward, stops and stares back with such defiance. And so the dance begins one step at a time down the road and away from my two cats. Then one morning I woke to find this cat in my bedroom. I was stunned and I might add a little apprehensive, cause we all know what cats can be like if they are cornered. Slowly I edged him back down the hallway and out through the cat door.

I noticed him coming in broad daylight and eating the cat’s food even when high out of his reach, he still got their food. Then, yesterday, I looked up and he was in my lounge room. It was therefore no surprise to be woken at 3.am this morning to hear deep guttural growls coming from my cat that usually sleeps on my bed. I got up to find this neighbourhood cat in the healing room. Oh yes – the healing room again. My greatest learning comes from who is in that healing room.

To digress for a moment, there has been a rash of burglaries around friends homes in this past week, viruses on computers and lots of stuff around communication devices; email, phones, fax’s etc, some very weird stuff going on, indicating strong energies coming in to the planet that have not fully integrated.

For example, at this very moment, Tannie (whom we all know alerts us to when the energies are out of alignment), is rummaging through my office, up on top of the cabinets pulling down the books in my bookcase. He has his nose into everything, pulling on this and that until he has pulled down some books for me. Being “Understanding God and Jesus in the New Millennium” another on Gemstones and another on “Women’s Health and Hormones”. After drawing my attention to these books he has now jumped down and left. What do I deduce from this? He wants to bring my attention to Crystals, my physical health/hormone levels and understanding the impact these new energies has on myself and others… A very clever cat!

Back to what has been happening around this past week. It seems that the issue of protection and invasion of our homes – the mirror is Self. Our possessions and our way of communicating important data and information is being highlighted. Generally, it appears to relate to front doors, IE: The issue is right in front of us if only we would look. Looking deeper it was to do with the Earth Elements and the grief Mother Earth is currently feeling about the abuse of her (self) her home (earth) and her possessions (the earth surface). And where is it? Right in front on us.

Now, who has been responsible for this invasion of Mother Earth? We all have, humanity as a whole, in the pursuit of power and greed. A patriarchal thought pattern that Mother Earth (woman), is of little consequence – in the pursuit of money and power.

Well, the tide is turning big time and Mother Earth/ Woman – God/Goddess is crying out for love and nurturing. It is time to heal Mother, Earth/Women God/Goddess within all of us and first we need to look to the energies within the Earth. For it is on Earth that we all stand, build our homes and make our livings. When we are out of balance with these energies within the Earth, we cannot manifest the things we desire. Left unhealed, struggle and chaos reigns

The energy grid lines have been interfered with in a major way, through mining, blasting, and building of roads, shopping centres, and the sprawl of urban development. Little or no regard has gone into the fact that everything is made up of energy and when it becomes severed, changed or overloaded and polluted WE ALL suffer. And this is what is happening right now. We need to stop and pay attention to the healing of the Earth – not in the way that may have been done in the past; I am talking about the energy of the Earth. We need to heal the Electrometric Energy of the Earth, which is affecting our own Electrometric energy bodies, like never before.

Now, coming back to why this neighbourhood cat invaded my home last night and the message he was bringing. Well, as I looked for a word to describe him, the word “Defiant” came to mind. Everything about him was defiant, except the time I found him in my hallway when he looked up at me and began to purr. He was really only looking for love and nurturing. He was actually coming right into my home, to find food, and probably company, love and attention. This is unusual unless they don’t get it in their own home. However, because of his defiant, aggressive, bullying nature, I pushed him away because at some level I feared him or what he might do. Cats are wonderful mirrors

I had been in quite a bit of physical pain yesterday, which is always a sign that something is coming to the surface. So what was this cat telling me? He was telling me that I have been defiant around the issue of love. These last nine years have been a roller-coaster ride of emotions of the heart. Finally, I said no more, I am not going to place myself in the position of falling in love – only to be hurt. I had come to a place where I felt comfortable and safe with my life and wanted it to stay that way.

The thing is, that deep within me is a well of ‘fear of falling-in-love’ again. Also there is a deep fear and absolute grief that I will never experience deep love again. I am in conflict around the issue of love, and today being Valentine’s Day it has come to the surface for me to acknowledge and release. I tell you, my heart is racing with the terror I feel of what I am about to experience. I know that today is the first day of my life and I really do want my life to be full of unconditional love of self and from those around me. Yet I am terrified that I will not have that depth of honesty, integrity and love for myself or from others.

So I have been fooling myself that I did not need to have a male partner in my life for fear that if I challenged myself on that issue I would be told I am not good enough, slim enough or attractive enough to experience love again at the depth I desire. Yet the grief of never experiencing the depth of love I know I am capable of is shattering – for we all, including myself, yearn for that Soul Mate or Twin Flame that totally fits us like a glove. I am acknowledging that I am in denial of the need for deep love in my life. I am allowing the grief and fear to come to the surface to be released. For if I do not allow these emotions to release themselves from within, then they will come back again and again dressed in different scenarios until I do. It is the same message for us all.

It is also acknowledging that as we are all connected, we are feeling Mother Earth’s deep grief that we have not honoured her sufficiently with our love. It is about acknowledging and taking responsibility, to accept our part in the rape and destruction that has been acted upon Mother Earth – our home.

Think about what has been done to Mother Earth, would any of us do that to our own homes? No! Since time began ‘She’ has absorbed the hate and horrendous destruction of human life, by means of human-made wars. We have invaded her home in ways we would never dream of doing to our fellow friends or neighbours. As we are all connected, it is an external mirror of that which is within us all. It is time to release our shadows and all the thought patterns and deep emotions of fear, hate and grief, within us. We need to acknowledge, accept and heal the destructive masculine energy within us by offering it our love and forgiveness.

So my friends, the neighbourhood cat in his wisdom has brought me such a gift. What was your Valentine’s gift?
