Famous French historian and philosopher Voltaire had once said “Love is a canvas furnished by Nature and embroidered by imagination.” This is exactly what Valentine’s Day celebration is all about. It is really a lovely canvas which is embroidered by the imagination of each one of the people who have fallen in love.

Valentine’s Day is meant to be celebrated as a day when you express your innermost feelings of care and affection to your near and dear ones. For some lucky ones it means, flowers, chocolates, engraved gifts, cards or a romantic candlelight dinner with their partner. This is an occasion when the mood is upbeat and everyone wants to convey their love and affection to their romantic partners, friends or their family members.

The main question arises when it is time to pen down your feelings on the paper. It seems so easy when you see some romantic mushy movie where the protagonist eulogizes his fair maiden or the first love of his life. But in real life, not everyone is so linguistically gifted. Be Your Own Self:

Even though tradition says that you have to write down some real good message for your loved one. But it may so happen that you are a person of very few words and that is how your partner knows you. So be the same on this day too. If all of a sudden you become very poetic and find a thousand poetic ways to impress your partner, it might backfire. Instead think of all the things that you share what both of you like to talk about, your shared interests, what amuses both of you and write down your message related to that. It is very easy for others to say that you should be honest and speak out your heart to the one person whom you admire and love. Be Real:

Don’t promise the stars if you are in a new relationship or are looking forward to establishing one.
