How To Build Your List Using FaceBook Notes

Notes on Facebook is one of the coolest ways to build relationships with people AND build a list at the same time.  You can talk about anything. I like
talking about life, business, and sports. OK back to the title: How To Generate Leads For Your Business Using FaceBook Notes…Let’s do this in a “rules format”.
Rule Number 1. Be professional. Yes it is cool to be yourself but to in order for you
to transcend into every culture, perspective, and circle of trust, you have to practice a universal attitude that is not offensive to anyone. This takes a high level of professionalism and you can be yourself at the same time. (the nice version) Rule Number 2. Timing is key. Post your note at a good time. Post it when you think other people will read it. The same ethics used in Email Marketing apply to making a note on Facebook. Most people are away for the holidays and usually like to sleep the same times that you do so try to revolve around other people’s schedules. This is business 101. Posting a Facebook note about the latest weight loss and diet plan on Thanksgiving day is great way to have your note deleted and lose potential customers. It’s just rude to talk about dieting when I’m trying to “get down with the get down” on a Turkey leg.  Rule Number 3. People have great instincts. So don’t post when you are in a bad mood or if you are angry. It doesn’t matter if you are trying to sell a car or organize a charity event, people know if you are coming from a place
of negativity. They know if you are rushing or under pressure. People deserve
the best version of you so do some “wooossaah” and pinch your ears if
that’s what it takes to get in a good mood. Rule Number 4. Use the tag option. On Facebook, as most of you know, you can tag people when you upload videos, photos, send messages, and make notes. This is an option and I only recommend you ONLY tag people that have something to do with what you are making a note about. If it is family news tag your family, if you are looking to buy some text books then tag the college students, if you have tickets to the Superbowl game, Boxing or UFC Matches in Vegas, then you can tag me. Rule Number 5. Keep it PG or G rated. Everyone here is in some kind of family whether or not they claim it. When writing a note on Facebook, ensure that it is content that you would allow your family to read. If you are overly raw, uncut, and vulgar then you will find that building your list on Facebook can be a bit of a challenge. Rule Number 6. Stay away from certain topics that can get overheated. Politics is definitely one of those topics. There are some people that will refuse to get on your list because you are a democrat or republican. It doesn’t matter if you are going to give away plasma TV’s to your email list. In business you have to know when to stay neutral on certain issues. Or at least bite your tongue. Rule Number 7. Remember your purpose. You are trying to build a relationship with a list of people that have something in common with you. It can be love for health, technology, spirituality, etc. If you take your eye of the ball you might get caught up in the list building mission which can lead to failure if you are coming off annoying or aggressive. This applies especially on Facebook. We want Facebook to stay classy unlike Myspace. (oops strong opinion…have to be careful with those) Rule Number 8. Be a turn on. Be cool. Be you. Don’t pretend to be something you are not. Being you will work just fine. When it comes to building your list using FaceBook Notes….Remember this: You are good enough, you are smart enough, and dog-on-it, people like you. Head over here >>> To Get More Tips And Advice
