We’re football fans and we’re not afraid to say it: I’ve got tickets for Superbowl 45! Yeah, that’s right, in-your-face! Okay, you know I’m jealous. And not just because you get to see the hottest game in America. But also became you get to visit one of the coolest towns this great country has to offer. So, if you’re heading down to see Superbowl 45, then you should totally be checking out some of the things Arlington, TX has to offer.

If you’re a sports fan (and if you weren’t, you wouldn’t be heading down to Arlington for Superbowl 45, now would you?), then you’ve got to check out the Legends of the Game Baseball Museum and Learning Center . The museum is open year round and celebrates America’s national pastime, Baseball (hey, I love football too, but let’s not forget the classics, ‘k?) The museum is located at Ameriquest Field in Arlington. The displays here include bats, jerseys, trophies and other memorabilia from baseball’s greatest players, both from the early parts of the game and the more recent past. Since this is Texas, the exhibits do focus heavily on the Texas Rangers and their history. The learning center is really great for kids, since it uses baseball to teach all kinds of subjects, such as math and science, but you have to see if anything is going on for them at the time which is open to the public. And of course, since it’s located next to the Ranger’s permanent home, you can also get a tour of the ballpark while you’re there for Superbowl 45.

And for the thrill seeker in you, go to nearby Dallas (that is after all the official home of the Dallas Cowboys) and check out Zero Gravity Dallas. This amazing amusement park is designed for adults and is the world’s only “Thrill Amusement Park.” What that means is that they have five different rides for the extreme rush enthusiast. There is of course a bungee jump. There is also a ride which is pretty self explanatory called the Nothin’ But Net. Then there is Texas Blastoff which pays homage to Texas’ role in the space race. And of course you can also check out the Skycoaster and the Skyscraper. It’s the perfect place to get a rush before you get a rush at the main attraction, Superbowl 45!
