Everything You Need to Know About the Sony Xperia Z3

Announced in February 2014 and released just a month later in March, the Sony Xperia Z2 model was a huge success. Its beautiful design was complimented by its life proof features (we love that it is waterproof and dust proof!), yet it still was jam packed with amazing specs which truly made it a hit. Unfortunately for those who recently bought the Z2, you may be disappointed to see that the new Z3 is pegged to be released sometime in August of this year!

Yes, that’s right – Sony is giving consumers the old one two! Hitting them with not one flagship smartphone in a year, but a second one just months later! Not many manufacturers can get away with such tact, but can Sony with their new Xperia Z3? Let’s take a peek at the review and find out!

Sony Xperia Z3 Review

1. Specs – Set to have a 5.5 inch display with a 4k resolution, this phone sounds pretty great already. The Xperia Z3 is also said to be just 6.1 millimeters thick and will be powered by a six gig RAM, a powerful 3.7k mAh battery, and an octa core processing chip clocking in at 2.5 GHz!
2. Features – Like the Z2 before it, the Xpera Z3 is going to be waterproof and dust proof as this was a huge selling point for its predecessor. Additionally, you can also expect the Z3 to have an astounding camera that will take phenomenal photos – reports state that the Z3 will feature a 28.7 megapixel rear camera! Unfortunately we don’t know yet if it will boast a Triluminous display, but rumor has it that it will so fingers crossed!

Overall Opinion of the Sony Xperia Z3

Despite the “coming soon” statements, it is known that the Sony Xperia Z3 will be released sometime this Autumn. Then we can truly get our hands on this beautiful new smartphone and see what it’s really like! Fortunately there are plenty of specs and features already available, and from what we’ve seen we definitely approve.

Sony Xperia smartphones are commonly priced around the $600 range so we can expect the same for this upcoming model. Overall, with the high standards and the already fantastic specs we know, this seems like a must have model that even recent Z2 owners will want to upgrade to!
