Apple iPhone Camera – 5 Ways to Use the Camera Features

[ad_1]

One of the biggest thing that I love about the iPhone are the camera features.

Unlike other cell phone camera, the iPhone camera actually takes decent photos that are perfect for any webpage or desktop background. There are several features that come with the iphone camera that are really nice. On top of all the additional features it can still take a nice picture.

1. Take great pictures.

One thing you need to remember about the Apple iPhone camera is how it actually takes pictures. If you have tried to take photos with your iPhone, than you may have noticed the picture was blurry. Unlike a normal digital cameras, the iPhone has a different process. When you press the picture button of the iPhone, nothing happens, however, it is when you release the picture button that the iPhone actually takes the photo. This has resulted in many photo's being blurred or you thought that there was a delay when taking the picture.

To get a decent photo with your iPhone you should press the picture button first and this will allow you to get a steady picture. After you are satisfied with what you are seeing, than you can release the shutter button to take the photograph. This will allow you to take better photographs, as well as pictures that are not blurry.

Also, taking pictures with the camera sideways gives you a full screen picture versus the normal straight up and down picture. This will see the difference when you start using your pictures as photos for your webpage or desktop background.

2. Using your photos as contacts.

You can use your iPhone camera to add photo of someone who is on your contact list. When you take photos of someone who is one of your contacts, you can set them to where their picture will appear when they call you. I you use this feature a lot times when I've taken great pictures of my friends and family. When someone calls the photo of their picture will appear. Just hit the forward button in the left corner of the screen and select assign to contact. Then you can select which contact to assign it to.

3. You can email images.

Once you've taken a picture, you can email it to anyone. This feature is great when your are not at a computer and you want to send someone a quick photo. Sometimes it can take a while to have the photo to sent. It just depends on the signal strength of your phone at that time. Just hit the forward button in the left corner of the screen and select email photo. Then it will give you the option to input an email address or to use an email from your contact list.

4. Use images as wallpaper.

The pictures can be used as wallpaper for your iPhone. Instead of having a generic or blank background on your iPhone you can have a picture of your kids, pets, vacation, etc. Just hit the forward button and select use as wallpaper.

5. Downloading images to your computer.

Connect your phone to your computer with the USB cable that came with your iPhone. A screen will appear and it will give you the option to Import pictures or Open the device to view the files. Click the Import pictures download the picture to the folder that you want and that's it. Also, these pictures can be used as a desktop background.

The only drawback is that it does not come with a flash, but you can download an apps for it. A company called SnaptureLabs is coming out with an flash, but it appears you have to be on a waiting list in order to get it. The only time you really need a flash, of course, are in a dark area. If your outside or inside and there is some light the pictures are usually bright enough.
