How to Combine PDF Files

Regardless of what your occupation is, it is important to have the right tools at your disposal. If you are a doctor, you will need to have medical forms to conduct your profession, if you are a teacher, you need to be able to make materials for students, if you are a student, you will need access to study materials. We can see that having the right tools is essential. So what tools are most needed in the modern workforce? While different types of industries require different things, one thing that Is ubiquitous amongst all professions is the PDF and the PDF editor that is required to work with them. PDFs are useful to pretty much everyone, but what exactly are PDFs and what can they be used for?

PDF stands for portable document format, and the name is apt since they are a very portable type of document in that they are versatile and can be used in many different ways relative to other file types. This is due to the fact they are structurally image files as opposed to text files which have limited use outside of text. PDFs are used to create many types of documents and can be created in many different ways with a lot of different features such as pictures, graphs, and non-aesthetic features such as electronic signatures. Also, when working with PDFs via a PDF editor, you can work with them in a myriad of ways. One important example of this is that PDF editors allow users to merge two or more PDFs together using the merge PDF tool. This can be super useful regardless of what profession you are in.

The merge PDF tool can be useful for many people and for many reasons. The merge PDF tool lets you take two or more PDF files and merge them into one. This can be used to do research and make a compilation of the research that has been done, it can be used to make a book, or to create a study guide for students. These are of course not the only use of the PDF editor and the PDF merge tool, but they are some of the examples. Although this tool is simple to use, let’s look at how to merge PDFs and what is a good tool to do this with.

Using Lumin PDF online tool to combine PDFs

When it comes to working with PDF editors and using the merge tools to put multiple PDF files together there is no better option than Lumin PDF editor. Lumin PDF is a high-quality PDF editor that comes in at an affordable price for businesses and individuals as well.

Lumin PDF offers the merge PDF tool as well as the split PDF tool which does the opposite of the merge tool (splits them apart into multiple PDFs). The reason though that Lumin PDF editor is the best for merging PDF files is that it works directly with Google Drive. If you or your business use Google Drive to store files, then it is easy to access them if you are using Lumin PDF. If you have two files in your Google Drive that should be combined into one, then Lumin PDF can do this with the push of a button. All you need to do is open Lumin PDF, go to the merge tool on the toolbar and select the merge option, from there you can choose the two or more PDFs that need to be merged together. After that, you are all set! You have one smooth PDF thanks to Lumin PDF.

Combining PDFs files online

Regardless of if you are using Lumin PDF or one of the other online PDF editors such as Adobe Acrobat, or PDFelement, then you will be able to merge PDFs together, but it is important to find the right PDF editor with the correct tool. Not all PDF editors offer the merge tool. If your PDF editor allows you to merge PDFs, then they will usually work the same way. There will be an option to select tools or utilities. Once you click that, you can select the PDFs you need to merge. If you are not using Lumin PDF, there will be some potential issues combining large files with Google Drive. But generally, the actual operation is rather straightforward.

What you can do with your combined PDF file

It would be easier to answer, “what can’t you do?!”. But in truth, there are many uses for this depending on what you need it for. For businesses, the merged file can be saved back into Google Drive so that your coworkers and colleagues can see it and also work on it. This is especially helpful if you are working on a co-op project for your job or if you are working on academic research for a university or a research institute. In addition to this, after you create a combined PDF document that is a legal file, it can either be printed and signed or you can share it with your counterpart and use the e-sign tool to make it legal and binding. Merged PDFs are not only useful for businesses, but they have use in the classroom as well. For teachers, the merge PDF tool is used when putting a study guide together for students as well as notes for exams, but that is not all. Merged PDF files can also be used to create virtual books that students can use in a distance learning environment. This is becoming more and more relevant, which makes having the right PDF editor an essential tool.

The merge PDF tool is a useful tool that lets you combine information into a portable image file that can be shared with others. It sounds specific but in truth, it is anything but. Sharing information is key in a globalized world and being able to merge information that can be shared makes work more efficient and easier to use for you, your coworkers, customers, and maybe even students.
