There have been a wide variety of opinions on when the iPhone 5 will actually be released. Some of these rumors have different dates and different months and no one knows for sure when the exact date. There are no confirmed reports on what features the iPhone 5 is expected to have but some accurate guesses can be made as to what features it will contain and what upgrades will be made to the existing features on the phone. One of the major feature introductions will be the 3D camera through which you can take 3D videos, pictures and even panoramic pictures which give you a 360 degree view on your surroundings. There is also the A5 chip that is expected to be put inside the iPhone 5. This is a dual core processor and will have a 1.2 GHz processor with a 1 GB RAM. These specifications will put most computers to shame and it will have nearly double the speed of the iPhone 4. It will also run on the iOS 5 and is expected to have 4G Services along with GSM and CDMA connections worldwide and hence it is dubbed as a world phone.

Dates The iPhone 5 Can Be Expected To Be Released:

There is a lot of discussion about the iPhone 5 release date in 2011. As to when the iPhone 5 can be released, some of the major expected dates are given below. This is no way the official confirmation though.

1. Macworld Convention in January: The new CEO, Tim Cook may release the iPhone 5 in late January. But chances are low since the iPhone 4S is selling like hot cakes in the market.

2. Spring 2012 is also an option as Apple usually releases its iPads during that season. But again, chances are less since Apple wants a nice period between the 4S and 5.

3. WWDC June 2012- Chances are high of the 4G iPhone 5 being released at this date.

4. October 5th 2012- This is the most probable release date of the iPhone 5 as it is perfectly placed and even though nobody wanted to wait one year for the iPhone 5, this is the most likely release date.
