Amazon. You love it (it’s got everything you could possibly need), you hate it (bye $$$), but you probably actually love it (a life without Prime is unspeakable).

Toilet paper? Check! DVDs? Check! Groceries? Check! But when it comes to makeup, Amazon might not be the first place you think of (Hello Sephora, Ulta, MAC, etc 😍).

But if you use Amazon to buy literally everything else, might as well fill your cart with a few new ~poppin’~ lipsticks. Am I right, or am I right???

So we rounded up some of Amazon’s top-selling lipsticks (at the time from their hourly-updated best sellers list) to test out and determine whether they're legit or toss-in-the-trashcan-asap.

And the results were…mixed/interesting, to say the least. LET'S GET INTO IT!

First up was Lipstick Queen Frog Prince and, let’s be totally honest, no one was impressed (despite the charming fairy-tale reference).

The selfie expressions really say it all.

It looks edgy at first, but it's actually kind of deceiving and far more balm-like than lipstick-like. It's one of those pH-adjusting lippies where it turns into a natural pink that supposedly best suits you, but the ladies definitely weren't feeling them. If it had ~actually~ been a lipstick with GREEN pigment, that would've been a different (and way more exciting) story.
