Abundance and prosperity refer to a continual surplus of that which is desired. Putting your energy into actions focused on producing certain results is a pretty basic formula that we all use to achieve any task. So what is the trick to performing actions which produce abundance and prosperity?

Have you ever seen a really successful person who sits around and does nothing all day? Maybe once in a very great while, but what about everyday? No. Even those who have quickly made massive fortunes usually keep on doing something. Now let us take a look at some other people. Have you ever seen a really poor, depressed person sit around and spend the majority of their time doing fruitless activities like watching television or playing video games? Yes. They do not wait until everything is just right or they are a professional in the activity they want to perform. They learn as much as they need to know to take action and then they do not wait!

Three Ways To Not Be Prosperous:

1. Wait. Waiting without any strategic reason is an excellent way to NOT be prosperous. Waiting without a specific timeline is also a fantastic way to keep prosperity from pestering you. It would always be better to take some intelligent action and make a mistake than to sit and wait. The hunter lost in the winter woods who sits and waits without taking any action freezes. The hunter who at least walks in a circle can stay warmer. Life is action.
2. Set the cruise control. Time and time again people have some success and then they lose everything. Many times it is because they met their goal, they patted themselves on the back and then they kick back. When I talk with sales managers, they see this all the time. Mediocre salesman have a high commission month and they quit putting energy into action. Guess what? Next month low sales, no money. This is not prosperity. You must keep putting energy in to keep receiving more.
3. Make a mistake and quit. The people who absolutely do not want prosperity must learn to quit as soon as a mistake has been made. That way they will be sure not to improve. Those who want prosperity use their mistakes as training and forge on toward their goal. Mistakes are almost like a right of passage to prosperity. The quicker you make your mistakes and move on the quicker prosperity becomes your ally.

Intelligent action is important, but any action can be modified to be more productive. Inaction is useless and is more of a waste of energy than unproductive action. Inaction actually drains you of what energy you do have and prevents you from having more. Take action now towards your passion in life. The energy you feel from simply doing what you love will be amazing. Following your passion, even if it is only a small part of what you do, is the key to keep you from setting the cruise control on your action. Keep moving ahead, keep the energy flowing. This is a must if you desire abundance and prosperity.
